Our Hearing Test app, which has been developed by our audiologyexperts, allows you to test your hearing quickly and easily. Thistest is completely independent of language, so you can use itreliably no matter what language you’re most comfortable with. Howthe test works The Hearing Test examines how well you can detectwords with background noise. This is based on the knowledge thatindividuals with hearing loss have greater difficulty understandingspeech in noisy environments, such as restaurants or railwaystations. During the test, you will hear imaginary words withfluctuating background noise. Your task is to select the word youheard from several options displayed on your screen. Depending onyour answers, the background noise will be adjusted. Unlike similarhearing tests, the volume setting is not crucial. The test consistsof 9 test items per ear and determines how well you can understandspeech in background noise. By comparing your results with theaverage score of other listeners, the program determines your levelof hearing.
